Can You Sleep in a Compression Bra? Yes :)

In the early weeks after surgery, most surgeons recommend it. For the first 4 to 6 weeks the usual guidance is 24/7 wear, removing your bra only to wash it. Swelling doesn't pause at night, so your support shouldn't either.

A comfortable compression bra should let you sleep normally: no wires, no hooks digging in, nothing to adjust at 3am.

What helps in the early weeks:
• Sleep on your back, propped up - a wedge pillow, a stack of pillows, or a recliner if you have one.    It eases swelling and keeps you from rolling onto your chest.
• A soft, front-opening top over your bra - or nothing over it at all.
• A small pillow under each arm, if it helps you settle.
