What does it mean to be OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified?

Your Hugger is safe for direct contact with your skin, right out of the package :)

Our Huggers are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified! 💛

What does that mean to you?

Your Hugger is safe for direct contact with your skin, right out of the package :) So safe that doctors put them onto their patients in the Operating Room!

Every component of our Huggers, including our high-performance, antibacterial yarn, is made from materials that are tested and certified as safe for direct skin contact.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is an independent certification that ensures that every single part of a garment (in this case your Hugger) such as the zipper, the thread, the g-hook, the strap fittings, and the knit itself has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human health.

The testing is extensive and takes into account many regulated and unregulated substances, and in many cases their limits go beyond national and international requirements. The criteria are updated every year and test are also done annually.
